It was because they knew he was an upcoming "star" in the world of warriors lol, but after his first win, they werent going to let him win all the time
looks like notifications is out of whack again
Completely agree with you. It was such a nice scene.
2:45 This is the warrior's visionary War God Palace
2:48 How magnificent
3:07 I was just passing by and I notice you. Looks like this is the first time you visited War God Palace
5:55 You've already graduated, just call me by my name
6:35 Of course, this is the War God Palace after all
6:40 Every month there are large quantities of priceless items auctioned
6:42 If the Asian and American governments sells once a year how much will they earn?
7:04 After this night is over, my younger brother will be able to walk again (SERIOUSLY? SISTER????)
ZZzz normally I dont do translations for long duration episodes, but this time, this episode's translation is pretty trash
(For goodness sake, the two of you just have another child and this time teach them well)
And there we have it his brother will walk again
I know its annoying that some of the translation errors still keep happening especially with basic things that keep happening. The only Chinese I have in my body is the one I eat sometimes and maybe a little on the bloodline of my mothers side but even I know that "didi" and "meimei" are two different things.
lol You tend to pick up certain words here and there after watching so many donghuas. Normally I have a great deal of respect for fansub groups, not because of the accuracy of the translations but for their work, spending time, taking on bad mouthing and earning probably next to nothing, but that is in the past, nowadays quite a number of groups just use autotranslators or OCRs to translate which by itself isnt wrong to do, but without a proper editor or someone with at least an adequate English language skill is just pure lazy... It's just my thoughts lol
I cant blame autotranslations, they are still work in progress, perhaps in about 20 years time, we might have perfect translations lol but I can blame no editors or QA checks, I dont know whether the groups gets paid through site traffic or ads on their site but still it is pretty lazy of them.
And to those would want to roast me by saying "it is free get over it" you are right, but I watch the untranslated Chinese ones, I only come here to interact with people I know, and sometimes I provide correctional translations, you can ignore my posts, in fact I have blocked people to make it easier for them not to read any of my posts lol
from what I saw they get money from adverts and donations. Not to mention patron but that is a joke, its like paying them subscription fee's for them to keep subbing. Also, 20 years to have a perfect translator might be placing your expectations to high. One example of that is slang language.... if I said to you "I fancy a ruby murray tonight while watching the custard and jelly" which translates into I fancy a curry tonight while watching the tv. It actually made me cringe to write that as it felt like I lost some brain cells but there are people who talk like that.
lol true colloquial talk or even current trend speech will be hard to cover by autotranslators as they will translate it literally
by the way Xian Mu "Immortal Tomb/Sacred Tomb" is out, I havent watched it read the novel but the graphics looks pretty well done from Soyep studio (Shenyi Jiu Xiaojie, Against the Sky Supreme etc)
hmm curry, I might make some Japanese curry tomorrow, now that you mentioned curry, my mom's curry takes too long to cook, with Japanese curry you can just cook for one
Considering your current condition wouldnt chicken soup be better? My dad always took care of the curries, my mother was never good at them. She made the best chicken soups and shepherd's pie I've ever had. I've tried several different versions of both of them but none of them ever matched up to them.
I'll keep my eye out for Xian Mu, I'm actually looking forward to the second season of Wan Jie Du Zun so we can finally see what happened in that hidden world.
I kind of stopped cooking chickens after owning the silkies lol I still eat them when someone cooks for me or brings me KFC but I will not cook them lol
Still no word on Wan Jie Du Zun's second season, it is odd since they do own the rights to the Wan Jie series, but they are branching off to other IPs Worse is that I cant even tell you what happened since the donghua does not follow the novel lol, the donghua itself is based off a side story of the main novel, unless I read the wrong Wan Jie Du Zun novel lol
It should be soon since they are advertising on the end of some of the donghua's currently airing. As for the chicken, were you feeling guilty and didnt want them to get the scent of the chicken cooking? Afraid they might become cannibals and eat their own? lol
Oh? That's good news then, so far I havent found anything on Tencent or the usual sites I go to, but that is good news nonetheless
More like guilty that I do own chickens that lays eggs lol
dont you cook the eggs though?
you can see the trailer just before the ending credits for the latest episode of Yao Shen Ji.
Cooking eggs is fine, but chickens... lol
AHh yes that trailer, I was searching for info about the second season when you mentioned it, and that trailer turned up on a tencent stream (non official) the caption is when will there be a second season? And there were a few people asking as well, I checked their weibo account as well but so far nothing, so I am not sure if the trailer at the end of Yao Shen Ji is actually an advert for Wan Jie Du Zun or hinting there will be a second season
I think it is hinting for a second season because they would do it differently if it wasn't for a second season. I'm also thinking that we might get it in the next month or two as if I recall that's how they did it before.
I dunno, it just feels a little strange that you cant cook some chicken in front of them but got no problem with cooking the eggs. I'm not a strong animal lover like some people so I'm not sure if its related to that or just your own principles (self rules) that govern that behaviour.
I hope so, been looking forward to a second season, and I checked for Wan Jie Fa Shen, nothing so far
No.. it is more like I saw a chicken killed in front of me, wasnt pleasant, I know how other meat animals are killed as well, but I havent seen it in front of my eyes so I can claim ignorance lol
As much as I enjoyed watching Wan Jie Fa Shen, I would love a second season but I dont think we'll be lucky with that and it'll only be one season.
I would probably be the same for a little while too with the chicken but it wouldn't stop me in the end. I've seen it done on documentaries but never in person. The closest I've been to anything like that is pulling the giblets out of a turkey to cook them later.
Out of curiosity, and I don't mean to be offensive, why do you use lol or emojis all the time?
I guess I never noticed lol, it is probably because I am a cheerful person, and my work requires me to be a bit more solemn and have a certain professional decorum since the people that I deal with might take it the wrong way if I smile or laugh
It is more I guess because I feel comments sometimes dont convey the feelings behind it, and when reading sometimes things are taken out of context, an innocent comment might be taken up as scolding or throwing shade, which I have no intentions of doing, a lol or :) just means I am not serious about this and I am not being offensive
Im just guessing here, but is it possible, that the chinese language can use the same word for bro, sis like siblings(I know it isnt perfect, we have a word for sis/bro without giving away the gender in hungarian)? I made an attemt to google it, but I gave up after a few minutes.
No, younger brother is Didi, younger sister is Meimei, the difference is pretty large. If it was older brother, Gege and older sister, Jiejie, then maybe lol but no. This isnt like the Japanese world for Aniki and Aneki (bro and sis)
More than likely it is done by an auto speech to text translation, I have seen it on youtube translation when watching Chinese drama and the auto translate just picks up the wrong pronouns or worse like this case, brother becomes sister.
If it is an autotranslator, it is a really good one compared to a lot of them. There wasnt any "huge" mistakes it was completely understandable. Thanks, for the answer!
No, Chinese use different words for brother and sister. Btw I study in China so u can consider it as a reliable statement.
Ever considered making srt? You pretty much already do 99% of the job ;)
Funny you should say that I used to fansub, but the softwares I used for typsetting and timing are out of date now, besides like I said before I have no time to commit to such an undertaking lol You do one then you do another series, then another lol
Dase, u know Chinese
sweet ending for this ep but I'm guessing things aren't going to go too well for little bro considering he's a perfect target his big bros arch enemies
He'll do ok, dont worry
good to know!
Taste food? Isn’t this VR? - guess it’s like the matrix or SAO weebgear
Yeah the War God Palace is a VR construct
What a wholesome moment at the end there, even tho lil bro was to caught up in his ( Its a whole new world ) moment to thank his big bro. I think Luo Feng was more than pleased all his efforts was worth it to see the smile on his lil bro face light up.
I must have missed it when his brother turned into a "sister"...those subtitles ┐(´•_•`)┌
Simple it whas computer transtlated not by person.
its rather common tho
Lol - I guess the translators knew he identifies as a pussboy - (ಠ‿↼)
sometimes I call my bro sis to joke around, maybe he was joking as well : )) - in the traslators mind, you can hear the voice say did which is male brother, far contrasting from the word for female sister.
Yeah they do that way to often idk y....like 4 out of five anime translate it wrong af
His brother got the 1st Water of Life. The 2nd is for his hunter mate who lost his arm. I can hardly wait for the ancient relic arc. Luo Feng will be much stronger then.
sheessh, is he going to start training as well in the future? :) if he could get a basic military level then he would could defend himself and his family and only require guarding from exceptional threats which would be a lot easier. no more low level money hungry rat coming at Luo Fengs family from nowhere.
I am assuming you are talking about Luo Feng's brother?
Anyway he does use his wits to save and defend his family when Luo Feng went missing by hiring one of the world's top mercenary/bodyguard group and bought shares of one of the top banks, which entitled him to some form of protection, but that isnt nearly enough for him to protect the underhanded attacks by the couple
glasses is a dead giveaway for a nerd
I wear glasses also, but I am not a nerd :P
Be bad idea for him to fight at a low rank now because Li Yao would enjoy picking on him. He is targeting him now and him on the battle field would be easy pickings.
Hey! where's my ending song?! It's way too good to just leave out! lol. Good episode all around otherwise.
Considering what circumstances Keita first met Luo Feng under, it's a miracle that he didn't turn out to be completely hostile like anyone else would. What a great character that guy.
Ep went by way to fast......Brother ( i mean sister) didnt even say thanks or give him a high five smh
The bro I mean sis lol was to caught up in the moment to realize it all thanks to his big bro, he can walk again.
One of those war gods looks like Dugu Bo from Soul Land
3516th war god? I thought he’d be the 8888th
What a nice welcome from the other war gods by giving him a easy auction. xD
